Presidential election in Guinea 1961

The presidential election in Guinea in 1961 took place on January 15, 1961. It was the first election of the head of state since the country's independence was proclaimed on October 2, 1958. Only the Parti Démocratique de Guinée was allowed to vote.

Incumbent Ahmed Sékou Touré was confirmed unopposed.
