Prague movie
The Prague Film AG was a German film production company that existed and from 1941 to 1945 their headquarters in occupied Prague had. After the defeat of Czechoslovakia, it served as an important representative of the interests of Reich cinematography in the “ Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia ”.
Prag-Film AG emerged on November 21, 1941 from the production facilities of the Czechoslovakian AB-Filmfabrikations AG. This included the important studios in Barrandov and Hostivař . When Ufa-Film GmbH (UFI) was founded on January 10, 1942, it was incorporated into the state-owned company and only retained its formal independence.
