Practice quality report

The practice quality report is a quality report from medical practices and comparable institutions in the German healthcare system.

As German hospitals are contracted doctors , psychotherapists and other health care facilities in Germany according to § 135 a SGB V, obliged to participate in cross-institutional quality assurance measures. The aim is to improve the quality of the results and to introduce and develop a quality management system within the facility. The practice quality report gives a systematic overview of the quality management of a practice, group practice, community practice or medical care facility. The practice quality report is aimed at interested patients. It is intended to make it easier for the patient to obtain information and to give the patient a decision-making aid in advance of outpatient treatments.
