Predel or Predela ( Bulgarian Предел or Предела ) is a mountain saddle between the Pirin and Rila Mountains . The highest point is at 1,142 meters above sea level. There is also a mountain hut of the same name on the mountain saddle.

The Kresna-Razlog uprising broke out there in 1878 , which was directed against the decisions of the Berlin Congress . Every year in August, the folklore festival Pirin pee (German: Pirin sings) takes place on the Bergsattel .

The Predel Point , a headland of Anvers Island in Antarctica, is named after the mountain saddle since in 2009.
