André Voros

André Voros is a French theoretical physicist and mathematician .

Voros received his doctorate in 1977 from the University of Paris-South in Orsay ( Développements semi-classiques ). He is a professor at the Service de Physique Theoretique of the Nuclear Research Center in Saclay . He is also at the Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu at the University of Paris VII (2011).

Among other things, Voros dealt with the quartic oscillator (i.e. with 4th order potential), semiclassical developments, quantum chaos and generalized zeta functions (spectral zeta functions, zeta functions that were constructed as Dirichlet series over the zeros of the Riemann zeta functions).

Stéphane Nonnenmacher is one of his doctoral students .
