Premach is a district with about 100 inhabitants in the municipality of Ursberg in the district of Günzburg in Bavaria .

location

The church village is a good two kilometers south of Ursberg, west of the elongated Ochsenberg and can be reached via a junction from the district road GZ 12 . The Ochsengraben, a source river of the Mindel , flows past in the east.

history

Premach was first mentioned in a document in the 14th century. From around 1384 until the secularization in 1803, the place belonged to the Ursberg monastery . In the Thirty Years' War Premach was devastated, ten years after the war were not even occupied half of the original houses again.

On January 1, 1976, the previously independent municipality of Premach was incorporated into Ursberg as part of the municipal reform.
