Premier Limited Overs Tournament 2011/12
The 2011/12 Premier Limited Overs Tournament was the 21st season of the national one-day cricket competition in Sri Lanka . The tournament was held between December 3rd and 17th, 2011. In the final, the Nondescripts Cricket Club was able to prevail against the Sinhalese Sports Club with 32 runs.
format
The 20 teams are divided into two divisions, each divided into two groups of five teams, in which everyone plays against each other once. A team received four points for a win. If no result is achieved and the game ends in a draw, both teams receive two points. The two group winners in each group qualified for the semi-finals of their respective division, whose winners determined the winners. The division A winner is the tournament winner.
