The President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site in the city of Hope, Arkansas, is the home where Bill Clinton , the 42nd President of the United States, spent the first four years of his life. The house has served as a museum since 1997 and on December 14, 2010, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar announced that the house had been declared a National Historic Site .

The two-and-a-half-story building was built in 1917 on behalf of Dr. HS Garrett erected. It was owned by Clinton's grandparents Edith Grisham and James Eldridge Cassidy, who had lived there since 1938 and bought it in 1946. It has a square base with 4 rooms on each floor.

The house has been listed as a structure on the National Register of Historic Places since May 1994 . It is also the Contributing Property of the North Elm Street Historic District , which was formed in July 1995. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Unit 394 by Barack Obama in 2009 . The address is 117 South Hervey Street, Hope, Arkansas 71801 .
