A press review is a compilation of current press reports as part of media monitoring, mostly in the form of excerpts . The admissibility is regulated in Germany by copyright law ( § 49 UrhG).

Press reviews are created and used in many companies, organizations and authorities - either internally in their own press office or externally by a commissioned PR agency or a media monitoring agency.
