The Chancellor's portfolio is a collection of newspaper reports compiled twice a day by the Federal Press Office and presented to the Chancellor for reading. Articles are editorially collated from several domestic and foreign magazines and newspapers. The Chancellor's folder is used to provide the Federal Chancellor with quick information about topics currently reported in the media and the course of the debates. Other members of the government also receive a copy of the portfolio.
