The magazine spokesman (proper spelling pressesprecher ) is the association body of the Federation of communicators (BdKom). The magazine, which specializes in public relations and communication , has been published by Helios Media since 2003. Rudolf Hetzel's Quadriga Media Berlin GmbH also takes on the organization, public relations and recruiting of new members at the Federal Association of Communicators.

The press spokesman provides information about the communication of companies in German-speaking countries as well as the profession of communication manager and portrays representatives of the industry. It provides information about training and further education opportunities, scientific backgrounds and professional policy developments.
