Pribina (Croatia)

Pribina was of about 930 bis 969 known by name, the first Ban of the medieval Croatian Kingdom . As such he ruled over the regions of Lika , Krbava and Gacka and was an influential military leader .

According to Constantine VII's report , Pribina is said to have overthrown and killed the Croatian king Miroslav in 949 in order to make his brother Mihajlo Krešimir II king.
