from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tingling (of . Mdal Pricken , (off) stand; engl. To prick , prick) is a crafting technique , in which a needle to be gouged forms. It belongs to the perforation techniques .

When tingling (often "Ausprickeln") are along a line with a needle, the pricking needle , small holes in a piece of cardboard or paper engraved so that it can be pulled loose. Usually, a pad made of thin foam or a thicker one made of cardboard or felt is used so that the prickle needle can be easily pierced.

The tingling sensation is often practiced in kindergartens . Compared to cutting out with scissors, it takes longer and the finished prickly works look different. For smaller children who are not yet able to handle scissors, tingling is often better than cutting. Some also consider working with a prickle needle to be less dangerous than handling scissors.
