Primian
Primianus or Primian is the name of several people in the early Christian era .
- The following are venerated as saints :
- Primianus and his companions Saturninus, Victor, Honoratus, Lucius and Hermes died as martyrs in Nicomedia (now Izmit ). Name possibly also Priamianus or Prianus.
- Primianus of Ancona , bishop and martyr, died in Ancona around 304 AD
- Primianus died together with Libosus, Dominicus, Victor, Honoratus, Saturninus, Crescentius and Secundus after 258 as martyrs in Africa.
- Primianus (Africa) († 258), martyr who died in North Africa
- Primian von Carthago , from 391 Bishop of Carthage , representative of the Donatism widespread there , a split from the Western Church .
- Primian (Kemnath) is a catacomb saint who was moved to Kemnath in 1692
