The Prince Andrew Plateau is an ice-covered, 65 km long and 25 km wide high plateau in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It is located south of Mount Rabot in the Queen Elizabeth Range of the Transantarctic Mountains .
Participants in a campaign from 1961 to 1962 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named it after Prince Andrew , second son of British monarch Elizabeth II.
