Process (own spelling PROCESS ) is a cross-media specialist media brand with several specialist journals, websites and industry events in German and English. The German print editions are published monthly by the Vogel Communications Group . The focus is on application-oriented technical information for chemical , pharmaceutical and process engineering. Readers are informed about automation , MSR, plant engineering , apparatus engineering , flow technology , but also about mechanical and thermal process engineering as well as highly topical topics such as digitization and modularization in the process industry. The specialist medium is aimed at specialists and managers, technicians and engineers who work in companies in the process industry with a focus on the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries as well as in companies in the oil and gas industry in the areas of planning, construction, construction, operation and maintenance are.
The specialist medium also appears under the title Process worldwide as an English-language world edition with a focus on Europe, the USA and India with topics relating to chemical and process engineering. The English-language edition appears five times a year with a circulation of 22,158 copies.
The Chinese-language edition Process China is aimed at investment decision-makers in research / development departments and quality laboratories in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as related process industries in the People's Republic of China. Every year Process organizes the funding process forums Pump Forum and Bulk Material Forum , the Smart Process Manufacturing Congress , the Energy Excellence Forum , the VIK Annual Conference and the SIL Forum . Numerous specialist congresses are also held in China.
Cooperation with ACHEMA
At the ACHEMA (International Exhibition Congress for Chemical Technology, Environmental Protection and Biotechnology), organized by the technical-scientific society DECHEMA (Society for Chemical Technology and Biotechnology eV), Process is also creating the official one in a project joint venture with Chemical Engineering Messezeitung ACHEMA Daily that is distributed within the exhibition grounds. In 2009, Process presented the “Process Innovation Award” in eight categories for the first time at ACHEMA. The project was continued in 2012, 2015 and 2018.
