Producer (even The Producers ) is a South Korean comedy - television series from the year 2015. It started on May 15 on KBS2 and was aired on Fridays and Saturdays. The series is produced in the style of a mockumentary and humorously documents everyday life at KBS headquarters in Yeouido in Seoul . Producer got a lot of attention when the show was announced due to the star cast of Cha Tae-hyun , Gong Hyo-jin , Kim Soo-hyun as well as the singer IU and the producer team, what is behind it.
The English word “producer” is written in Korean 프로듀서 peurodyuseo . However, the Korean spelling of the series is 프로 듀사 peurodyusa . This is kind of a play on words . Many Korean names for highly respected professions end with the syllable ~ 사 . So the brothers of Baek Seung-chan (played by Kim Soo-hyun) are a lawyer ( byeonhosa ) and a doctor ( Uisa ).

Ra Jun-mo
Ra Jun-mo is the producer of the show 1-bak 2-il ( 1 박 2 일 ) which is no longer very successful. Therefore, the entire line-up should be replaced.
Tak Ye-jin
Tak Ye-jin is the producer of the Music Bank music program and has years of experience in show business. She's clever and shows those around her exactly what she's thinking. She has money problems and therefore moves in with her colleague Ra Jun-mo.
Baek Seung-chan
Baek Seung-chan is a new producer in the KBS variety section. Because of his crush of young people, he applied for the position that works in the same field. He has a lot of difficulties starting out as a newbie and is quite clumsy. In particular, producer Ra Jun-mo and the unpredictable Tak Ye-jin make life difficult for him.
Cindy
Cindy is a famous pop diva known as the Ice Princess because she shows no feelings.
