The documentation describes the impact that the Prohibition Act had on the United States and its society in the 1920s. These impacts included immigrant behavior, the rise in organized crime , political events and the influence on elections. It relates heavily to the book Last Call: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition by Daniel Okrent .
