Proportion theory
The theory of proportion defines the rules according to which the relationships between the parts of a work of art are considered to be harmonious .
The following are important:
- the canon for the proportions of the human body
- the golden ratio
- the quadrature
- the triangulature with the equilateral triangle
- the harmonic proportion , i.e. the transfer of the vibration conditions in music to length ratios ( Leon Batista Alberti )
- the Modulor ( Le Corbusier )
