The prostitution in Belgium is legal.

There are around 20,000 to 30,000 prostitutes working in Belgium . The red light districts of Brussels include Rue d'Aerschot , Rue de Brabant and, more upscale, Avenue Louise . Other red light districts exist in Antwerp , Ghent , Liège , Ostend , and Charleroi . A larger proportion of women working in prostitution in Brussels come from the Sliven area in Bulgaria .
