Protestantism in Sri Lanka

The Protestantism in Sri Lanka is an important group within the Christian in the island state.

A total of less than 10% of the predominantly Buddhist country are Christians , most of them Roman Catholic and only a minority - a total of 3 percent - is Protestant.

The Church of Ceylon is a member of the Anglican world church community . The Church of South India is also represented in Sri Lanka. The Assemblies of God are also represented in Sri Lanka.
