Provadis Partner für Bildung und Beratung GmbH is active in training and further education and, with around 1,400 trainees and over 3,100 participants in further education in Frankfurt and Marburg, is one of the leading providers of educational services in Hesse. From recruiting in training and in trainee programs, Provadis offers courses, training, in-house seminars, distance learning courses, e-learning and recognized professional qualifications for professional advancement. Provadis is a subsidiary of Infraserv Höchst .
Provadis has four subsidiaries of its own: Novia Chromatographie- und Messverfahren GmbH , Provadis School of International Management and Technology , Provadis Professionals GmbH and Provadis Transfer GmbH.
Provadis is a private training and further education service provider that provides professional training and further education for various companies, mainly located in Industriepark Höchst, but also for external institutions such as the Frankfurt Regional Finance Office or the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs . Courses for further education or student internships are also offered.
history
Provadis Partner für Bildung und Beratung GmbH was founded in 1997 as a spin-off from Hoechst AG . Since Hoechst AG's profits have been falling continuously since 1989, the new managing director, Jürgen Dormann, who was appointed in April 1994, initiated a series of change processes in the company. The new service structure envisaged that the previously largely independently operating units of training and further education, centers for training and advice (pro team) and company inspections were to be combined in a market-oriented unit called “educational services”. The aim of this first merging project was to align the educational processes more efficiently with the needs of the different company areas. The external consulting agency Kienbaum Consultant International GmbH, together with the project team from Hoechst AG, decided against outsourcing this company department, which is why a legal form decision was not necessary at this time. In 1997, after successfully completing the merger project, the company began spinning off the education services from Hoechst AG as Provadis partner for education and consulting with the help of the external personnel consultancy Droege & Company. The new service structure and ongoing restructuring processes in the company required the establishment of this company with the business purpose of accepting trainees from Hoechst AG, which was partially dissolved. A division of the trainees into the individual newly created companies would have been very complicated due to the legal situation. This establishment was quite complex due to the fact that each of the approximately 1400 trainees had to agree to the restructuring process, which was nevertheless successful. Initially, Provadis GmbH only accommodated the trainees. The management and organization was taken over by the parent company, Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG, which, as a new company, took over the infrastructure tasks of Hoechst AG, which in fact no longer existed. It was not until 1999 that the staff and management employed by Provadis GmbH were transferred to the company.

Provadis has up to 1,400 apprentices in vocational training. Around 400 new trainees are added every year, with around 8,500 young people applying for 400 vacancies.
