Przewalski's rock partridge ( Alectoris magna ) is a bird art from the family of pheasant-like (Phasianidae) used to order the chicken birds heard (Galliformes).
description
In its appearance, Przewalski's stone chicken is largely similar to the chukar chicken . It differs from him by a black stripe that runs from the base of the beak over the eyes and by the lack of a black chin patch. Because of its resemblance to the chukar chicken, it was even considered a subspecies for a long time.
Przewalski's stone hen is native to China . It occurs there in mountain locations between 2,400 and 2,700 meters. It prefers to inhabit steep slopes that are populated with grass and low shrubbery.
