from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ptahil ( God of Creation ) is a mythical figure of the Mandaeans . He is a hybrid creature and light being and represents the fourth life in the Mandaean doctrine.

He was commissioned by his father Abathur to create the world Tibil and the first man Adam pagria , which he succeeded after a few failures and with the help of living fire and the demonic ruler Ruha . Mana rubre , the first life, disapproves of this act and then condemns Ptahil, with which he lost world domination. At the end of the day he is to be redeemed by Hibil .
