The Public Relations Global Network (PRGN) is, according to the trade magazine O'Dwyer's the world's four largest PR network consisting of independent agencies. PRGN is made up of more than 50 cooperating agencies that cover 80 global markets and together serve more than 1,000 customers. The network was founded in 1992 in Phoenix , Arizona ( USA ) and has been registered in the US state of Delaware since 2003 .

  • 1992: Established as "The Phoenix Network" (US members only) in Phoenix, Arizona
  • 2001/2: The first European members from France , Germany and the United Kingdom join
  • 2002: New name "Public Relations Global Network" (PRGN)
  • 2004: Expansion to Australia
  • 2005: First agency from Central America ( Mexico ) joins
  • 2007: Africa ( South Africa ) and South America ( Brazil ) are added
  • 2008: The first Asian partner from Singapore joins
  • 2015: Around 50 members on all continents
  • 2020: First virtual conference, 51 members

The Public Relations Global Network consists of independent, owner-managed companies and has no headquarters . Every year the network elects a new president. Currently (until May 2021) this is Robert Bauer from the accelent communications agency in Vienna. He will be followed by Alexandra Dinita from the Bucharest agency Free Communications in 2021 . Gabor Jelinek leads the operative business as Executive Director.
