Publicistklubben ("The Publizistenklub") is the joint representation of the press , radio and television in Sweden in their ethical and cultural endeavors.

After it was founded in the fall of 1874, the club grew and now has a good 2000 members across the country. The Publicists Club is based in Stockholm and is organized into six geographical units. The club is a forum for ongoing debates between journalists , politicians , entrepreneurs, Cultural workers and other groups in Swedish society. The club has successfully fought to improve the financial and other living conditions of journalists while they did not have their own union. The Publikistenklub advocates freedom of the press and freedom of speech as well as the accessibility of public files. Last but not least, he has actively contributed to the self-rehabilitation of the Swedish press. The publishing rules of the Publicists 'Club and the Press Arbitration Court are two results of efforts by the Publicists' Club in the area of ​​press ethics. Large donations allow the Publicists Club to distribute annual scholarships (most recently 95,000 SEK ) to members who want to broaden their horizons and deepen their knowledge.
