Publius Aelius Magnus
Publius Aelius Magnus (full name form Publius Aelius Publi filius Sergia Magnus ) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd century AD .
A dedicatory inscription found at the Maglona fort and dated 191 shows that Magnus was Prefect of the Ala Augusta ob virtutem appellata , who was stationed in the province of Britannia . Magnus came from Mursa in the province of Pannonia inferior and was enrolled in the Tribus Sergia .
