from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Publius Calvisius Ruso was a Roman politician living in the 1st century AD .

A military diploma dated June 11, 79 proves that Ruso was a suffect consul with Lucius Iunius Caesennius Paetus in 79 ; the two presumably held office from March 1st to June 30th. The consuls couple is also attested by inscriptions. Around 92/93 Ruso was governor ( proconsul ) in the province of Asia .
