from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lucius Junius Caesennius Paetus was a Roman politician living in the 1st century AD . In an inscription his name is given as Lucius Caesennius Paetus .

A military diploma dated June 11, 79 proves that Paetus was a suffect consul with Publius Calvisius Ruso in 79 ; the two presumably held office from March 1st to June 30th. The consuls couple is also attested by inscriptions.

Paetus is the son of the full consul of the same name of 61, Lucius Junius Caesennius Paetus .
