Publius Valerius Patruinus

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Publius Valerius Patruinus was a Roman politician living in the 1st century AD .

An inscription dated July 19, 82, proves that Patruinus 82 was a suffect consul with an unknown person ; the two presumably held this office from July 1st to August 31st. Possibly he was governor in the province of Galatia et Cappadocia from 83/84 to 85/86 . By military diplomas that are dated November 7, 88, there is evidence that Patruinus 88 governor of the province of Syria was; he probably held this office from 87 to 90.
