Poodle cat
A poodle cat is a torture breed that arose from the combination of a Devon Rex and a Scottish Fold Cat . It has a wool fur similar to a poodle and ears folded forward.
However, the poodle cat has abnormalities in its hind limbs, which means that many of these cats cannot walk or sit painlessly at a later age. The calmness and attachment of the poodle cat described by breeders is not a character trait, but rather a result of pain.
The same applies to the attempts at crossing the Selkirk Rex and the Scottish Fold Cat (Schäfchenkatze). At this intersection, the ear cartilage is also affected, with the ears that were initially placed straighten up again.
The breeding of these cats is prohibited in Germany according to Section 11 of the Animal Welfare Act.
