Pueblo Russo , also known as Pueblo Ruso or simply Russo , is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the northern part of the Salto Department in Sector 7 in the Cuchilla de los Arapeyes . Closest settlements are Guaviyú del Arapey in the southwest and Cuchilla de Guaviyú in the northeast. Not far to the north runs the Río Arapey Chico , which forms the department border .
Residents
The population of Russo is 30 (as of 2011), of which 15 are male and 15 are female. The Instituto Nacional de Estadística de Uruguay did not collect any data for the previous censuses in 1963, 1975, 1985, and 1996 .
