Summit of the Puig d'Arques

The Puig d'Arques is a mountain in the Massís de les Gavarres in Catalonia .

The 532.2 meter high mountain is located between Cruïlles , Romanyà de la Selva and Sant Sadurní de l'Heura in the comarca of Baix Empordà .

There is a weather radar station on the summit ⊙ . In 2012 an observation tower urm was built next to it, offering a wide view of the coast of the Costa Brava and the coastal mountains ( Massís de Cadiretes ), the Pyrenees and the neighboring Puig de la Gavarra (532 meters), the highest mountain of the Massís de les Gavarres, allowed.

A few meters below the summit is the dolmen of the Puig d'Arques ⊙ , a stone age stone grave.
