This Cassini-Huygens radar image shows part of the Punga Mare in the immediate vicinity of the North Pole.
The Punga Mare is one of the methane lakes on Saturn's moon Titan . The name comes from Maori mythology and refers to Punga, an ancestor of sharks and lizards . The lake measures around 380 km and is located north of Kraken Mare and northwest of Ligeia Mare at 85.1 ° N / 339.7 ° W.
