Puning
The city of Puning ( Chinese 普宁 市 , Pinyin Pǔníng Shì ) is an independent city in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city Jieyang . Puning has an area of 1620 km² and has 2.04 million inhabitants (2003). The seat of government is the street district Liushabei (流沙 北 街道).

At the community level, the urban district consists of five street districts, 19 large communities and one community.
