Records to release a compilation of rare and previously unreleased recordings. Mark Brennan, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Captain Oi! Records, personally took care of the selection of the pieces. Song info

Rue Morgue , See You Later , Lonely Cowboy , Bad Day and Independent Girl come from the so-called junk sessions. These were considered lost for a few years because NEMS, the Boys' record company at the time, refused to cover the studio costs in Rockfield. However, Dangerfield had previously secured and retained the monitor mixes. Some of the recordings from that time were published on Odds & Sods in 1990 . Recordings from this session also include Jap Junk , an early version of Kamikaze , with a longer saxophone solo.

The First Time comes from the first album The Boys . The version published on this compilation has a new verse and refrain. The version was too long for a single and therefore disappeared in the band's archives.

I Don't Care and Soda Pressing was the boys' first single. The versions on their debut album have been re-recorded and can be heard here in the original.

Lucy was one of the first boys songs, but was only recorded for the first time as the b-side of Let It Rain .

A later version of Flies was released in 1999 as a bonus track for the re-release of Alternative Chartbusters under the title Lies .

Almost Persuaded is a Country & Western song by Casino Steel in which he tries to come to terms with the breakup with his girlfriend at the time.

I Love Me was the B-side of the Terminal Love single. The ending is based on the Rolling Stones piece We Love You .

No Leaders is a filler. Part of the piece was used in the song Cast of Thousands on Alternative Chartbusters .

Little Runaround is an outtake of the boys-only album.
