Punta Colorada is a town in Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the Maldonado department in sector 3 . Punta Colorada is located on the coast of the Río de la Plata west of Punta Negra and southeast of Piriápolis . The Arroyo de la Barra Falsa rises a few kilometers to the north .
