Punta Manquilef ( English Manquilef Head ) is a headland of Clarence Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located in the middle section of the east coast of the island.
Chilean scientists named it after Julio Manquilef, a participant in the 6th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1951–1952). The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee translated this designation into English in 2018.
