Punta Ventana (from Spanish ventana 'window' ) is a headland in southern Puerto Rico . It was named after a striking rock formation with a surf gate , which was a popular tourist attraction but collapsed in an earthquake on January 6, 2020 with a magnitude of 5.8 on the Richter scale .
