The Purian Sar is a 6,293 m high mountain in the extreme west of the Karakoram Mountains in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .

The glaciated flanks of the Purian Sar are drained to the western Karambar .
Ascent history
A first ascent of Purian Sar in 1975 over the northwest ridge is documented in the Himalayan Index . A Japanese expedition reached the summit on August 7, 1975 (Tsuyoshi Furuichi, Ryuji Hayashibara, Hiroshi Inoue and Yasunori Ito) and the following day (Yoshihiro Uchida, Teruhiko Nakajima and Junichi Takahashi).
