QJM: An International Journal of Medicine , abbreviated QJM , is a scientific journal published by Oxford University Press for the Association of Physicians of Great Britain and Ireland .

The journal was founded in 1907 by the Canadian physician Sir William Osler as the "Quarterly Journal of Medicine" and initially appeared four times a year according to its name. In 1985 there was a changeover to a monthly publication that still exists today, the abbreviation "QJM" of the original name was retained and the addition "An International Journal of Medicine" was added. Current publisher is Seamas Donnelly from Trinity College in Ireland Dublin .

The journal includes original articles, systematic reviews , guidelines for practice, case and picture reports, and commentaries covering all areas of internal medicine. With an impact factor of 2.495 in 2014, the journal is ranked 36th out of 153 evaluated journals in the category "General and Internal Medicine" according to the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge .
