The Qagan Pao or Chagan Lake ( Chinese 查干泡 , Pinyin Chagan Pao , commonly known 查干湖 , Chagan Hú or Mongolian colloquially Qagan Only "White Lake") is a freshwater lake in the Autonomous District Qian Gorlos Mongol Autonomous County of Mongolian in the administrative area of the prefecture city Songyuan in the Chinese province of Jilin . It is the largest inland lake in Jilin Province and about ⅔ the size of Lake Constance . This makes Lake Chagan one of the ten largest freshwater lakes in China. A tourist attraction is the annual Lake Qagan Winter Fishing Festival . It is on the Intangible Cultural Heritage List of the People's Republic of China .
