Qianli Qian (born February 7, 1965 in Neking ( Jiangxi Province ), China) is an Austrian national table tennis player and Olympic participant.

Career

Qianli Qian was born in 1965 and naturalized in Austria in 1988. At the National Championships of Austria he came in second six times between 1989 and 2000, behind Ding Yi or Werner Schlager . From 1991 to 2001 he took part in seven world championships . With the Austrian team he finished fifth in 2001 . Several times during this period he was nominated for European championships .

In 1996 he qualified together with Ding Yi for participation in the doubles competition of the Olympic Games in Atlanta, where he was eliminated in the qualifying round.

Qianli Qian played for Sport Union Wolkersdorf / SVS Niederösterreich . From 2000 and 2001 he was Austrian national champion and winner of the super league with this club, in 2000 he reached the final of the Champions League with its men's team . Since 2009 he has played for the Ligist / Don Bosco club in the 2nd Bundesliga.

Since March 1st, 2013 Qianli Qian has been working as a national trainer for the Austrian Table Tennis Association .
