The Qingcheng District ( Chinese  清 城区 , Pinyin Qīngchéng Qū ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Qingyuan in the Guangdong Province of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of ​​927 km² and has 540,000 inhabitants (2003). It is the center and seat of the Qingyuan City Government.
