The Autonomous District Liannan Yao ( Chinese  连南瑶族自治县 , Pinyin Liannan Yaozu Zizhixian ) is an autonomous county of Yao in the administrative area of the prefecture-level city Qingyuan in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong . It has an area of ​​1,231 km² and has a population of 160,000 (2003). Its main town is the Sanjiang Community (三 江镇).
