Hekou (Honghe)
The Hekou Autonomous County of the Yao ( Chinese 河口 瑶族 自治县 , Pinyin Hékǒu Yáozú Zìzhìxiàn ) is an autonomous county of the Yao of the Honghe Autonomous District of the Hani and Yi in the Chinese province of Yunnan . It has an area of 1,313 square kilometers and has around 80,000 inhabitants (2004). Its main town is the Hekou municipality (河口 镇).
Administrative structure
At the community level, it consists of two large communities and four communities (one of which is a national community). These are:
- Community Laofanzhai (老范寨乡)
- Community Qiaotou the Miao and Zhuang (桥头苗族壮族乡)
- Community Yaoshan (瑶山乡)
- Community Lianhuatan (莲花滩乡)
