Gongcheng
The Gongcheng Autonomous County of the Yao ( Chinese 恭城 瑶族 自治县 , Pinyin Gōngchéng Yáozú zìzhìxiàn ; Zhuang Gunghcwngz Yauzcuz Swciyen ) belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Guilin in the Guangxi Autonomous Region of Zhuang in the southeast of China .
Gongcheng has an area of 2,149 km² and approx. 280,000 inhabitants (end of 2004).
Administrative structure
At the community level, Gongcheng consists of three large communities and six communities . These are (population figures: 2000 census):
- Gongcheng municipality (恭 城镇), 45,329 inhabitants, main town, seat of the county government;
- Limu municipality (栗 木 镇), 45,881 inhabitants;
- Greater community Lianhua (莲花镇), 51 352 inhabitants;
- Ping'an Township (平安 乡), 35,589 residents;
- Community Sanjiang (三江乡), 13,450 inhabitants;
- Community Jiahui (嘉会乡), 24,902 inhabitants;
- Xiling Township (西 岭乡), 36,268 residents;
- Guanyin Township (观音 乡), 8,610 residents;
- Community Longhu (龙虎乡), 9,835 inhabitants.
