Qinzhou (Tianshui)

The municipality of Qinzhou ( Chinese 秦州区 , Pinyin Qínzhōu Qū ) in the Chinese province of Gansu belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Tianshui . It has an area of 2,442 square kilometers and has a population of around 650,000 (2004). Until 2004, the district was called Qincheng (秦城区) before it was renamed Qinzhou.
