Qiujiang

Qiujiang ( Chinese  虬江 街道  /  虬江 街道 , Pinyin Qiújiāng jiēdào ) is a street district in the south of the county town of Sha in the area of ​​the prefecture -level city of Sanming in Fujian Province , People's Republic of China . It has an area of ​​170 km² and has a population of around 32,000 (2010). The name is a common misspelling for the Wu expression 旧 江 or Jiùjiāng, i.e. H. "old river", inspired by the mythical animal Qiu, a kind of hornless dragon that lives in rivers.

Since the municipal reform in 2003, the street district of Qiujiang has been made up of 2 communities and 19 villages . These are:
