Quadrennial

A quadriennale is generally used to describe a cultural event that takes place every four years.

In Italy was in 1927 Rome Quadriennale launched, together with the Venice Biennale and the Triennale in Milan is the triumvirate of cultural events in Italy.

The Quadriennale Düsseldorf celebrated its premiere in Germany in 2006. The Quadriennale Düsseldorf is a four-year festival of the fine arts in which the leading Düsseldorf art museums, exhibition halls, the art academy and numerous partner institutions participate.

The Prague Quadrennial is an international theater exhibition that took place for the tenth time in 2003.

Between 1974 and 1986 the Quadriennale of the arts and crafts of socialist countries took place in Erfurt .
